STANWOOD — A quick look at the Northwest Region Future Business Leaders of America Conference results reveals that Lynden High School appears quite a few times.

That’s because the 29 students that Lynden’s FBLA chapter sent to Stanwood for the Feb. 11 competition placed in 34 of 47 events, including seven first places. Nineteen Lynden students placed in the top five or higher in their events, earning a spot at the FBLA State Business Leadership Conference in Spokane April 24-27. These state placers collectively took home 52 awards.
